The updated Chrome Android app can load pages without images, saving 70% data. Just flip on Data Saver in the app. Now available in India and Indonesia.

This mode to save more data – up to 70 percent. – by removing most images when loading a page on a slow connection. After the page gets loaded, we can tap to show all images or just the individual ones we want, making the web faster and cheaper to access on slow connections.
